Cavas Bisila by Ladrón de Lunas

Cava is Cava, wherever it is made, so why not support local growers, and the ecology by reducing transportation costs, by consuming Valencian Cavas this Christmas?

Valencia International begins a series of articles about Valencian Cava, while recognising that Catalonia is a lovely place and also makes good bubbly.

The Valencian winery Ladrón de Lunas elaborates 5 cavas with the best grapes of Requena under the Bisila brand.

It has several types of cava so Bisila Brut is a cava 100% Macabeo straw yellow with a very cool bubble especially suitable for snacks and cocktails.

Bisila Rosé is made with garnacha grapes, giving it a beautiful pink colour and aged by the Brut method, its aromas of wild red fruits and notes of butter make it ideal for desserts and even cold appetizers.

Bisila ECO Brut is in the ecological range that incorporates a small percentage of Chardonnay, making it creamier in the mouth and with a fineness especially sensitive to the palate. It is certified and in the elaboration it is made with grapes which are 100% organic.

Bisila Brut Nature and Bisila Brut Nature Special Edition, are two very dry cavas that combine the macabeo and chardonnay grapes at their best. The difference is that the second of them has a percentage of Chardonnay higher than 20%.

The two last cavas have a nice straw yellow colour, a rosary of fine bubbles and are creamy in the mouth, especially the Bisila Brut Nature Special Edition, where you get notes of butter and brioche attached to a fresh memory of citrus and white flowers.
