The success of the 3D school training in Valencia

The entertainment multinational Bandai-Namco and the animation school PrimerFrame, have signed an unprecedented collaboration agreement by which in Spain animated short films of their best-known characters will be made.
“LIFETIME” is the first short film resulting from this agreement, based on the character PAC-MAN and is the first of a series of short films that will be presented internationally, with the Bandai-Namco licenses, completely made by students of PrimerFrame, as part of their Animation Master.
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe, a leading company in audio-visual entertainment, and PrimerFrame, animation and videogames school, are pleased to announce the signing of a collaboration agreement for the development of several animated short films. Thanks to this agreement, the students of the Animation Master will be able to use licenses belonging to Bandai Namco to develop their master’s degree projects. In this way, students can discover the challenges involved in working on a project with requirements and deadlines of a real customer.

Thanks to this agreement, students will have a unique opportunity to work with icons of popular culture such as Pac-Man and also to understand the ins and outs of their profession even before entering the labour market, “said Carlos Escutia, CEO of PrimerFrame.

The first short that is taking place as a result of this collaboration is Lifetime, a love story in which the famous Pac-Man will play a fundamental role and that will be released this year.
PrimerFrame celebrates 9 years training professionals in the animation and videogames sector, a school with a training method that is far from conventional and academic, but which is practice-based.
It consists of professionals from the sector who have decided to dedicate themselves to teaching. Among its milestones are the 500 nominations and selections in national and international festivals and more than 100 awards, highlighting the Crystal of Annecy for the short film “Friendsheep”, or a Goya for the best animated short film for “The seller of smoke”.
