Sorolla Sotheby’s Success

To celebrate a Spanish final in the Champion’s League, London auctioneers Sotheby’s has put a painting by Sorolla up for auction.

The painting reflects the artist’s vision of Valencia, and especially of the light he loved and captured at the Malvarrosa beach.

Playa de Valencia is the star attraction of an auction of 19th century Spanish painters and is expected to reach a sum of between 200 and 300 thousand pounds.
