More Murviedro Medals
If wine wasn’t so wonderful, it could almost be boring to talk about even more awards achieved by Valencian vines.
Bodegas Murviedro has won 5 medals at the Concours Mondial of Brussels. Two wines from the province of Valencia and two more from Alicante, as well as a cava from Requena were brought back from the competition held in Bulgaria at the end of April 2016..
The cava in question was Luna de Murviedro Organic,consisting of Macabeo (90%) and Chardonnay (10%) grapes, an ecological wine.
Their red wine Expresión Solidarity Cuvée 2011 consisting of Monastrell 55% and Garnacha 45%) won a gold, while the DNA Murviedro Fashion Alma Mística 2015, won a silver, as did Cueva de la Culpa, a blend of Bobal and Merlot and Cueva del Perdón, a coupage of Monastrell and Syrah, from Alicante, .
