The Valencian video game company Melbot Studios were the winners of the Play Station Talenct award for the best video game of 2017 in Spain.
As a result, the company will enter into an agreement with the Japanese giant to develop and market their products in the coming years.
Melbot is an entertainment startup founded in 2017 by David Montero and Ivan Expósito, who both come from top tier agencies in the Industrial Design and Videogames sectors, and after working in projects for several fortune 50 companies and being creative souls, decided to start their journey to create entertainment products on their own terms.
Their vision was to blend the digital and physical worlds to create transmedia products and franchises that use technology in a magical way, with the intention of just helping people to have a good time.
Melbot has put together a strong trans-disciplinary team with its focus on designing and developing products that always have a rich narrative, an outstanding execution quality and a versatile scalability.
Melbot is an independent factory of ideas, populated by a bunch of hardcore out of the box thinkers that love to mix narrative with art and technology.
Fun is the goal, always. This world needs more smile and less confrontation, that’s why Melbot infuses a positive quality in everything it creates.
Playing is the best way of learning, some say the only way and all Melbot’s products mix play with exploration as a fun way to learn new skills, concepts or habits.
