Malco Rent a Car makes itself available to social services and reduces the cost to self-employed and businesses during the pandemic
The Valencian mobility services company, Malco Rent a Car, wanted to show its solidarity in the face of the current health crisis with the free transfer of its fleet to the Red Cross.
The aim is to facilitate the important work carried out by the entity during the confinement, attending to more and more demands from people at risk or with reduced mobility who cannot make the trips permitted by the Royal Decree.
The vehicle provided by Malco Rent a Car has 5 seats and is used to provide medicines and food to people with risk factors or reduced mobility and to transport them to health facilities. This is not the first time that the company has collaborated through a social action with the Red Cross since in 2019, it decided to donate 0.7% of its profits to the entity and collaborate with the service of collecting food and non-sexist toys.
Malco Rent a Car continues to offer mobility services to companies and professionals dedicated to the distribution of essential services to guarantee the supply of food, medicines and other basic necessities. As a sign of solidarity in the face of the complicated economic situation of certain sectors, Malco Rent a Car has reduced costs to self-employed people and companies so that they can offer their services during the pandemic, within the mobility exceptions established by the State of Alarm.
Since the beginning of the health crisis, Malco Rent a Car has further strengthened the cleaning and disinfection service of its vehicle fleet to guarantee the safety of its customers. The work consists of minimizing the contact with the client and disinfecting the interior of the vehicle with an ozone machine, and making an extreme effort to clean all the most frequent contact areas such as steering wheels, handles, dashboards, etc. In this way, any possible contagion is avoided.
