On Friday 19th December 2014 it was the turn of the students
of IES Serpis to enjoy and learn all about the monuments, mysteries, legends, etymology, religion, millennia, gastronomy, nutrition, ecology, ghosts, water, invasion, mathematics, sustainability, threats, industry, resentment, reverence disputes and fauna
of this unique space; the huerta of Alboraya.
after a long PE lesson, lasting over two hours, they were able to reap the reward of not complaining all morning, an authentic horchata.
This was served in what must be the most interesting and original Horchateria anywhere; in the middle of the Huerta, in a garden full of birds (an a very quiet white rabbit) by Vicen, whose family farm now sells Horchata and vegetables grown in their own garden.
The group was accompanied by Guillermo of the EFE News Agency, so we may soon be seeing ourselves on prime time TV.
