Gandia International Cartoon Festival
Gandia was the centre of the universe, or at least the one inhabited by Bugs Bunny and Friends, when the International Festival of Shorts and Cartoons took place there between 28th April and 1st May 2016.
After 11 years of non-stop animation in Rome, the festival transferred to Gandia, and included special guests Bill Plympton and Stefano Argentero.
Shorts and cartoons from 45 countries were on view with all the new tendencies and old favourites.
In the Teatro Serrano Plympton gave a conference and show his feature film Cheatin (2014).
Sessions were held in the Teatre del Raval, the Serrano and the Aula Magna of theUniversitatPolitècnica de València.
