We are second year students of “Educación Infantil” in Vocational Training School “Faitanar” in Quart de Poblet. And finally we can say we have successfully put on the children’s panto “The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf”.
On December 19th we showed our panto to three different audiences who enjoyed it and had fun. At 9.30 for three year old children at next door CEIP Constitución, then again for the 5 year olds and finally at 13.00 for our own classmates and teachers at CIPFP Faitanar
We talked to some of the actors and the rest of the production team about their experience:
HOW WAS THE EXPERIENCE OF DOING A PLAY IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE?
MOTHER PIG: Oh, yes! It has been a lot of fun and rewarding, oink, oink!
NARRATOR: Yes, to act for children is always nice
– HAD YOU EVER DONE SOMETHING SIMILAR?
FATHER PIG: I have worked with children but had never done a play for children
PIG 1: No, it is the first and hopefully not the last.
– DO YOU THINK THAT THE CHILDREN UNDERSTOOD AND ENJOYED THE PANTO?
PIG 3: I think they understood most of the play without too much difficulty and the questions were very simple
WOLF: They understood all right and interacted well. There were also a couple of children who were frightened of me, the big bad wolf. Auuuuuuu !!!
-WHICH WAS YOUR BEST AUDIENCE , ADULTS OR CHILDREN ?
PIG 2: I liked the children better.
ART DIRECTOR: the two were interesting. I liked doing both.
-WHAT IS YOUR OPINION AFTER THE PANTO?
CRAFTS CREW LEADER: We were all very happy and eager to do more.
-AT THE CLASS LEVEL, DO YOU THINK IT’S INTERESTING TO CONDUCT SUCH ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM?
PRESENTER: Yes, that’s where we really put into practice all the skills and knowledge learned in class.
Thank you very much for coming to see us. The activity was prepared with a lot of enthusiasm and we loved it!
