Valencian designer Héctor Diego has been awarded the prestigious German Design Award 2016 in the category of Excellent Product Design – Household for a doorstop called Lock.
When not in use it is hung from the doorknob and challenges the traditional wedge shape with a more attractive curved design.
It is strong, light, flexible and ecological, 100% recyclable, and it comes in colours.
The award winning product is manufactured in Valencia by REI Reunión Industrial and can be found in most important DYI stores.
