Since 1940 the Sant Vicent Ferrer co-operative of Teulada, province of Alicante, has been making wines. The co-op, which has over a hundred members is a specialist in the Moscatel varietal, and has now launched the first ever Rosé wine made from that grape.
Visitors to the Costa Blanca will often have remarked upon the hillside vineyards in the Moraira-Teulada area, with their white chalky soil and unbeatable views of the sea.
Now we will all be able to relax upon a hillside and enjoy the wine that was missing from everybody’s portfolio; the Moscatel Rosé.
