Valencian lawyer Maria Guinot has been designated by Forbes magazine as the best Spanish lawyer under 40.
Maria, who has been a state lawyer since 2005 and used to be the Deputy Director of the state lawyers of the Valencia Community, now works in Madrid as a partner of CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo,
She moved to Madrid in 2012 to work at the Budget Department of the Spanish Inland Revenue Ministry and was then involved in the restructuring of what became known as the ‘Bad Bank’, responsible for dealing with the assets and liabilities of the Spanish banks that crashed during the crisis.
While in Valencia she was also the Secretary of the board of the Jucar River Authority.
