Valencian Photographer Wins Award

A photographer from Villareal, Castellón, Antonio Porcar Cano won the Photo of the Year for his picture of saxophonist Benny Golson in front of an image of the legendary Billy Holliday, taken on July  26^th 2013 at the  Festival Internacional de Jazz de Peñíscola.

The award was presented at the Jazz Journalists’ Association’s 18th annual Jazz Awards at the Blue Note Club in New York.

Antonio is a Jazz Concert Promoter, Amateur photographer and the Founder of the Facebook group “Jazz Photographers”, which has over 5,000 international collaborators.
