Valencian Cherry Picking Time

Valencia isn’t Jerte it’s true, but a number of villages are renowned for their cherries, and June is the month of cherry festivals in places such as Serra, Aín or Caudiel.

Caudiel, in the province of Castellón, is easily reachable from Valencia on a local train, and has been celebrating its cherry harvests since 1973.

The 2019 festival takes place on 1^st and 2^nd of June with a series of activities and plenty of stands to consume cherries.
