Valencia Tops Cocktail Competition

Valencia has always been renowned for its role as a place to party and have a good time, and now that message is on its way to China and the Dominican Republic, where Valencian barmen and cocktail maestros Sergio Valls and Sergio Santamaria will represent Spain in the International Cocktail finals, after having won the Spanish classifying round.

Both Sergios stir and shake their cocktails at the recently re-opened legendary nightspot, Café Madrid, widely believed to be the place where Agua de Valencia was invented.

Joining them will be another Valencian, Vanessa Pérez, and the three of them are hoping to bring world titles back to Valencia, as was the case with last year’s world champion from Castellón, Toni Cortés.
