London, UK – HomeToGo, the world’s largest holiday rental search engine, has revealed the results of its annual Pride Index, which names the top 50 cities to celebrate Pride from 22 countries around the globe. Valencia’s Pride festival was selected as one of the top 50, taking 23rd place in the worldwide ranking.
In order to rank the world’s fiercest Pride festivals, five factors were researched for hundreds of cities:
Year-on-year growth of the Pride festival
LGBTQ+ nightlife
LGBTQ+-friendly laws
Travel connections
Accommodation affordability
The final shortlist comprises the 50 cities with the highest overall scores. Valencia came in at #23 in the worldwide ranking, with particularly high scores for its LGBTQ+-friendly legal environment, affordable accommodation and year-on-year growth in popularity.
