Tangò

Some places are worth eating at whether the food is good or not. Fortunately, at Tangò the food is good, but the view is spectacular.

If you are willing to walk, or drive to the end of Javea’s port, you’ll find it perched above the rocks and the lapping waves.

Unfortunately, some times the waves lap too much, and for this reason you have to book the same day, as a stormy sea makes eating on the terrace impossible.

Most of the tables are in fact outside on the terrace, where you can enjoy a menu which is mostly tapas, although they also do some paellas.

The wine list is very imaginative, and it’s not the cheapest place to eat, so it’s worth being invited by someone who doesn’t care abut spending a few bob.
