Royo Group Expands into Mexico and Costa Rica

The Valencian bathroom fittings group Royo, with its headquarters in the Quart de Poblet district of Valencia, where El Cid defeated the Moors among the Mulberry trees in the 11th century, has acquired a Mexican company with 50 employees and premises of over 3,000 square metres in Mexico City.

From there the company intends to supply not only Mexico, but also the South and North American markets with its products, which include showers, Jacuzzis, toilets and washbasins.

Royo Group already had offices in Miami, Chile and Peru, but no manufacturing installations until now.

Furthermore, the company has now opened a branch in Costa Rica with five employees so as to expand further into the South American market.

The company has production plants in Valencia and since 2008 in Sztum in Poland, which is now the leader in Eastern Europe, and began exporting in the 90s to countries such as Germany, France, Austria, Holland and Belgium. It now has a presence in 90 countries with 10,000 outlets.

In the near future, Royo plans to open up new markets in Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Royo maintains its high international profile by participation in international trade fairs such as Cersaie, in Bolonia and M.O.W.in Bad Salzuflen, Germany.

The company slogan ‘Inspiring Bathrooms’ is certainly one of the first things I consider every morning after getting up.
