Famosa Penetrates UK Market

The Alicante toy maker Famosa, the first large scale toy making company created in Spain following a merger among small artisan toy makers in 1957, has formed a strategic Alliance with Bandai UK to distribute its brands Nenuco, Pin y Pon and Nancy in the UK and Ireland from 2016.

Famosa began its large scale commercial life making dolls of Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Disney’s Cinderella, although its first major home-made product was Güendolina in 1958.

Today Famosa exports all over the world and has branches in Portugal, France, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico and China.
