It’s a Dog’s Life…in Rafelbunyol
Every dog has it’s day, and that day, for the dogs of Rafelbunyol, was 18th September 2016, when Spain’s first concert for dogs took place.
Composer Jesus Salvador Chapi composed a piece especially for dogs called Fantasia Canina, parts of which can only be heard by dogs.
Despite irresponsible media speculation, the organisers denied the appearance of American group Three Dog Night, or a screening of the popular film Beethoven.
Neither did Frank Sinatra give an unscheduled performance of The lady is a tramp.
Rafelbunyol is a village 15 kilometres north of Valencia, at the end of line number 3 of the underground system.
Rafel Festival takes place each autumn, and this year’s canine initiative took place in the open air in Parc de la Senyera; with a lot of trees.
