If there is one thing Valencia is known for, it is its ability to celebrate life. A Mediterranean lifestyle that not only coexists with the creativity of its people, but is also the perfect breeding ground for their development.
CLEC Fashion Festival, which took place on the 21st and 22nd of February in the Hemisfèric, has been created to promote and give visibility to Valencian talent in all its forms.
A meeting place where fashion, photography, beauty, gastronomy, cinema – particularly fashion films – and music come together.
Established designers such as Francis Montesinos, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Dolores Cortés, Leandro Cano, Isabel Sanchís and Miquel Suay joined the commited to young Valencian firms such as Sonia Carrasco, 404 Studio, Visori Fashionart, Siamo Studio, Álvaro Mars and Yvan Andreu.
Gastronomy, music and much more
Chefs of national and international prestige, some of them with a Michelin star, such as Alejandro del Toro, Bernd Knöller (Riff), María José Martínez (Lienzo), Miguel Ángel Mayor (Sucede), Miram de Andrés (La Sucursal), Nacho Romero (Kaymus), Luis Valls (El Poblet) and Vicente Patiño (Saiti) created exclusively for the CLEC a cover inspired by the work of some of the designers.
And like any great festival, there was also be a lot of music by DJs such as Pepino Marino, The Basement, Cósima Ramírez, Toxicosmos or Cero en conducta.
