Aguas de Valencia WLL, based in Qatar, is the new partner of the Valencia utilities Company, Aguas de Valencia.
The Company continues to internationalise, exporting its know how in the organisation and running of high tech water supply and systems maintenance.
Chemical engineer Enrique Fernández Martoswill head the Project, which is already busy providing a new water supply and fire fighting system for Doha airport.
Valencian water supply and treatment company Aguas de Valencia hasalso won a tender in Angola, by which the company will be able to guarantee drinking water to one of the country’s main cities, Malanje, with a population of over 220,000 people.
In collaboration with the local public water company, Aguas de Valencia foresees complete coverage of the water network by the year 2018, in a region where the company has been working since 2013.
The contract is worth 3.5 million euros, and is financed by the World Bank, and involves training of local staff as well as modernization of systems and working methods.
Aguas also has agreements with organizations like UNICEF , supporting this organization in spreading awareness and campaigning and fundraising for the work that UNICEF develops in 190 countries.
