Argentinian chef Germán Carrizo, has won the first prize at the I Concurso Nacional de Garbanzos de San Sebastián Gastronómika.
Carrizo, who works at the Fierro restaurant in Valencia, produced a cold stew of chick peas with squid to wrap tentacles around his seven rivals in October 2020.
The restaurant is located in Carrer del Dr. Serrano, 4, in Valencia’s very own Notting Hill district of Russafa.
