Benicarló Barman the Best

Valencians have many skills, but perhaps they are best known for their ability to relax and have a good time. And surely there is no better way to relax than to watch somebody else preparing your favourite cocktail. And if that person just happens to be the best barman in the world then it’s another round please.

Toni Cortés is the world’s best barman, and that’s not a biased opinion of his friends and relatives, Toni was declared world’s best barman in the category of ‘Decoration’ in Tallinn (Estonia) in October 2018.

Stirred but not shaken by the competition from 60 other countries, Toni’s concoction called ‘Mediterrani Cobbler’ consisted of gin, whisky, melon liqueur, spicy mango syrup and grapefruit juice.

Toni comes from Vilavella, in Castellón, and Works at El Candil Bar & Drinks in Benicarló. Previously he had won the 2017 championships in the Comunitat Valenciana and Murcia, and then went on to become Spanish champion.
