Valencian Tank Tech for Chile

A collaboration between the hi-tech Valencian company Bienetec and its sub division specialising in enhanced reality, Aumentaty, together with the Chilean company ITrag International, has led to the development of a tool that will be used by the armed forces of that country.

The tool will allow tank manouevres to be seen and expressed in three dimensions far away from the heat and smoke of battle.

The name ‘tank’ was an idea of Winston Churchill to deceive German spies. When the new ‘secret weapon’ was being built during World War I, he convinced everyone that the factory was in fact building water tanks.
