As part of the commemoration activities to mark the 100 anniversary of the start of World War One, Valencia’s L’Iber Museum, with the largest collection of toy soldiers in the world, has inaugurated a special section dedicated to that terrible conflict that changed the world, although it apparently taught the world nothing.
The exhibition fills an entire room of the Malferit Palace in Calle Caballeros 20-2, where the Museum also offers exhibits about the whole of human history.
The section on World War One looks at all the conflicts and as well as displays of specific battles, there are also uniforms, photographs and information panels to inform people about the nature of the conflict.
There will also be lectures to analyse the origins of this war to end all wars, which didn’t.
