The Valencian Architects’ Professional Association has opened a small gallery and exhibition centre at street level at its HQ in Calle Hernán Cortés, 6.
Currently a selection of fascinating old photographs of Valencia the way we were are on show.
Topics include shipbuilding, trains and trams and the Nazaret neighbourhood.
Among the first photos ever taken in Valencia are those showing the visit of Spanish Queen Isabel II to Valencia on 28th May 1858, as well as the first flights taken in the city at the beach during the Regional Exposition of 1909, an event that revolutionised the city.
