Tecnospan, a Valencian construction sector company based in Chiva, is expanding into the African market, specifically in Kenya and Angola, in a joint venture with a local company, Concera.
Together they have set up a factory in Luanda, capital of Angola, to construct concrete building materials.
In this way, the Valencin company will take part in a programme to build 20,000 new houses in the area.
So far Tecnospan has obtained contracts worth 3 million euros in the region.
The company, which obtains 95% of its revenues overseas, also operates in Mexico, Columbia, Argentina, Bolivia y Peru, and has its sights set on Russia.
Tecnospan has been functioning since the late 90s, and has premises of 7000 square metres, where its 80 employees work.
