Riba-roja Goes Visigoth

An interesting people the Visigoths, whose presence in the Iberian Peninsular as Alpha Dogs only lasted from 408 to 517.

In the small town of Ribarroja, near Valencia, there are considerable remnants and ruins, which the Town Hall is keen to exploit with the annual Visigoth market, which began in 2017 and so has lasted almost as long as the Visigoths.

There you can learn to make ceramics, or arrows, see birds of prey and listen to Visigoth music and eat typical Visigoth food, which may or may not be related to the birds of prey.

All this took place on the weekend of 7/8/9th September 2018, coinciding with the gastronomy festival of the town from 1st to 16th of the same month.
