Murviedro, ecological wines to enjoy good food

Cavas are increasingly consumed to accompany meals or as a sparkling and sophisticated after-dinner drink, although there are a large number of people who maintain the custom of uncorking a bottle for desserts, to toast with them as a prelude to a pleasant after-dinner meal.

Cavas are a must even when there is something to celebrate with your loved ones, and if the cavas are organically grown, so much the better. Cava is the most representative sparkling wine in Spain and the altitude of the lands of Requena, in the Valencian highlands, provides the excellent balance of a perfect maturation, which is achieved by working with traditional viticultural practices that seek low production.

With the seal of the DO Cava, Murviedro produces three sparkling wines from organic cultivation. The Arts de Luna Organic Brut Nature is made with Macabeo and Chardonnay, it is aged for a minimum of 11 months in rhyme, in which no expedition liqueur has been added, to respect the purity of this cava. Its foam is dense, a fine bubble and well integrated. Its aromas are clean, of citrus and white fruits (apple, pear), of dried fruits such as hazelnuts and walnuts, with hints of pastries. In the mouth it is very pleasant, lively, fresh, with a subtle citrus and floral (orange blossom) finish and a creamy sensation that makes it long and persistent.

The Arts de Luna Brut is made with the same combination of grapes, ideal as an aperitif, to be drunk with starters and to accompany desserts that are not too sweet.

And the Arts de Luna Brut Rosé, a casual rosé sparkling wine made with Grenache, which combines particularly well with smoked salmon, cold cuts and salted fish, and is also an all-round favourite.
