Little Green Olives

There are surely few things more Mediterranean than the humble olive. The olive tree, with its typical leaf colour that can best be described as ‘olive green’ is one of the commonest features of the Mediterranean, especially in Andalucia.

However, not all that is green is Andaluz, Valencian olives also have their market share, as has been demonstrated for over 50 years by the Alicante based company Aceitunas Cazorla.

Since 1958 the company has sold its products under the brand names La Esplanada, Yak, La Sota and Campoamor, and its 200 employees now have a market in over 50 countries.

There is also a little bit of emerald green within the company, whose shareholders include the Irish firm Abobo & Co.
