LA PINADA FUN, A SPACE TO EXPERIENCE NATURE AND RESPONSIBLE LEISURE

La Pinada Fun is an initiative created by Barrio La Pinada to give life to a space, and provide an alternative of leisure, culture and gastronomy that helps people to live in a more sustainable way. An ideal place for family leisure in the open air just 10 minutes from Valencia.

Live music

One of the main attractions of La Pinada Fun is the cultural program that offers the possibility of enjoying live music among pine trees. La Pinada Fun is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 18 h. and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 h. to 1 h.

Every day at 7 p.m., music lovers have an appointment to enjoy culture at this difficult time: Wednesdays are for Reggae, Thursdays are for Jam Sessions, in which anyone can bring their instrument and participate. Saturdays are reserved for flamenco and Sunday afternoons the vinyls take the leading role in the hands of DJs. Through intimate concerts, artists and bands like Rober Molina or VI Blau and the promoter Bam Bam have created the soundtrack of the summer in El Barrio La Pinada.

“It’s amazing to see every day how families and people of all ages share, enjoy and participate in our sessions, in an inclusive and diverse environment,” says Belén Balada, Director of Pinada Fun, who also highlights the ecological and sustainable nature of the space: “Our goal is to be a reference in sustainable leisure, working in all its social and environmental dimensions. For example, we have just installed a parking lot and basic bicycle repair station, taking advantage of the fact that we are in a unique environment to be able to follow routes both by bike and on foot. We want to promote the bike as an ideal means of transport to reach us. He adds: “we are also promoting natural play areas for children that include, for example, sandboxes or logging circuits”.

Local gastronomy

The Food Area of La Pinada Fun is characterized by a cuisine with local products and proximity, healthy and homemade both in its Gastro Bar, where you can drink or snack with friends in a natural environment, and in its restaurant, where you can taste all kinds of rice, upon request.

The offer of Pinada Fun continues to grow for all types of users. For example, children and adults celebrate their birthdays, companies hold meetings of their teams that are teleworking, or teambuilding activities. In short, a space to live, learn and enjoy.

Safe space in the new normality

Being a wide open space in the open air, La Pinada Fun becomes an ideal place for leisure and meeting in this new post-COVID-19 normality. All the rules and best practices of safety and hygiene are complied with: distance (with limited spaces and exclusive for groups), hygiene (they have hydroalcoholic gel for all the clients and disinfection of the furniture after each use) and safety (obligatory use of masks, the employees go through temperature controls and obligation to wear mask and gloves).

La Pinada Fun offers a new and different alternative in the Valencian agenda for families, friends or companies to enjoy nature and responsible leisure.
