The Valencian engineering company Iberproex Engineering & Project Management has won another international tender in the face of opposition from 20 rival companies, and will soon be collaborating on the construction of the Olympic stadium of Batumi, Georgia.
The works will begin in September 2015 and should be finished in 2017.
This is not the company’s first triumph in Georgia; in 2010 they undertook a work for Tbilisi Town Hall, to build a 50 metre high steel tower called The Heroes’ Tower.
They have also been active in Senegal, where they collaborated on the building of two cement industry plants, and in France where they worked on another cement-related project.
