Here Comes the Sweet
Some people might consider it a bit strange to describe the sun as ‘sweet,’ spicy perhaps, piquant even. Nevertheless the Valencian cake manufacturer Dulcesol must be doing something right, with factories in Gandia and Villalonga in Valencia province and another plant in Oran, Algeria.
They have now begun exporting their sweet, sunny cakes with fillings to seven countries thanks to an agreement with the supermarket chain Auchan; France, Italy, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine and Russia. This brings their total international presence to almost 50 countries.
The company has been producing cakes for more than 60 years now and has over 2,000 employees.
