Carmina Sánchez: The Singer and the Song

Music has always been at the centre of Valencian culture, and there are very few villages that don’t have their own band.

One such village is Polinyà del Xúquer, near Sueca, which in April 2018 held the second Concurso Internacional de Canto ‘Martín y Soler’.

The winner was the soprano Carmina Sánchez, a 27 year old Valencian singer who in November 2018 will be touring in Barcelona, France and Italy.
