2019 could be Sorolla year as a big exhibition of his work at London’s National Gallery will exhibit 60 of his works from 18th March and Valencia Town Hall is thinking about opening a Sorolla Museum, possibly in the clock tower building in the port to honour Valencia’s best known painter. Sorolla went on sale at Sotheby’s in London on 13th December 2017, when four of his paintings went under the auctioneer’s hammmer.
