VR Day 2019 – Global Virtual Reality Day, 23 November 2019

AVRE, the Valencian Association of Extended Reality, is organizing the

first edition of VR Day in the city of Valencia, the annual meeting

with Virtual Reality. It will be on November 23rd at “Las

Naves”.

The day, focused on virtual reality, augmented and mixed, and on its

application in different industries, will have guest speakers

from the world of technology and innovation. Attendees will also

enjoy a showroom with demonstrations of different devices

and applications that you will be able to discover and test on site. Finally, there will be

children’s workshops that will help us to bring these new technologies closer

to families and to make their recreational and educational potential known.

The conferences will deal with topics such as health, neuroscience, video games,

user experience, telepresence and the legal challenges of this new

digital paradigm that will end up connecting realities that even today

we cannot imagine. However, these technologies are already a reality and the

objective of this event, as well as that of the association, is to make them

known.

During the event, which also takes place in other parts of the world under

the name “Global VR Day”, there will be moments for surprises and

demonstrations, where you can experience first hand different

technologies less well known but already developed and on the market.

Virtual Reality Day will take place on Saturday 23 November,

from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., in the centre of the city.

The Valencian Association of Extended Reality (AVRE) is a

private, non-profit association, open to all ecosystem actors

of software development in the so-called “Extended Reality”,
