Valencia Film Noir Festival

The 7th edition of Valencia’s Film Noir (VLC Negra) Festival took place from 10th to 19th of May 2019.

For 10 days 56 writers and a hundred participants took Valencia to the dark side, illuminated by the light from the silver screen.

Valencia’s Institut Français participated with workshops by Johana Gustawsson and Sandrine Destombes.

Adding more international colour was Britain’s Fiona Barton, author of The Suspect, as well as B.A. Paris, Sharon Bolton, Vanessa Savage and Italian Antonella Latanzzi.

Spanish participants included Esther García Llovet, Berna G. Harbour, Lea Vélez, Maribel Medina, Lourdes Ortiz, Margarida Arizteta, Anna Moner and Esperança Camps, the latter being the author of the intriguingly titled ‘Assasins valencians’.
