Swiss Heat in Valencia

The Swiss solar energy company Edisun Power, inaugurated a solar farm near Requena in March 2018, bringing sustainable non-polluting power to some 7,000 dwellings in Requena.

The farm has two sections, each of which can produce 6.021 MW, or 20,000 MWh per year, which would eliminate the need to emit 19,500 tons of CO2 if the power were produced by a fossil fuel burning power station.

The Swiss company operates 37 solar farms in Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
