Surf’s Down

Kalahari Aventuras is an adventure sports company based upon the Cabriel River in the province of Valencia.

It was created by Toni Zapa, whose adventures on the river began at the age of 16 when his first supposedly 2 hour descent of the river ended up lasting two days.

Since then, when not working the river, Toni has travelled the world and its rivers, and his latest voyage set a record when he became the first person to brave the currents and crocodiles and, armed with just a paddle and a surfboard, descended the Nile River from Aswan to Luxor, a mere 150 kilometres.
