Planeta Huerto: Brothers in Ecology

Planeta Huerto was created in September 2011 by two brothers, Pablo and Alfonso Sánchez, from San Juan (Alicante).

The Company seeks to combine ecology and e-business, and it seems to have been a good idea as their turnover in 2018 was 10 million euros.

Since then they have now set up their first physical shop, near home at the San Juan Carrefour hypermarket.

With more then 320,000 clients the Company has become a leader in its sector in Spain and Portugal, aiming mainly at youngish city dwellers who want to grow their own.

Planeta Huerto is also a socially responsable Company, and in May 2019 organised the cleaning up of plastics from the beach at El Altet (Elche) in Alliance with the #TrashtagChallenge movement.
