La Tribu Opens Maltese Festival

The valencian audio visual company La Tribu Animation has been selected to open the Trojan Horse Was A Unicorn film festival, celebrated in La Valeta (Malta) in September 2018.

This will be the 6th edition of the festival, held on the tiny island that has been the location for many important films, such as Ridley Scott’s Gladiator, and the second time that Tribu, founded by director Jaime Maestro and sociologist Nadia Ruiz in 2017, present the opening contribution.

Previous cartoon collaborations include Red Shoes & The Seven Dwarfs along with Frozen creator, the Korean Jin Kim.

Jaime has won awards at the Annecy Festival and the Premios Goya, has been pre-selected for an Oscar, as well as being a SIGGRAPH finalist.
