Ford’s e-Car Made in Valencia

Ford has started production of the Mondeo Hybrid at its Almussafes plant near Valencia, and the future starts here.

This model is the first hybrid car to be manufactured by Ford in all of Europe, and forms part of a movement away from petrol polluting cars towards models that work with renewable or non-contaminating energies.

By combining petrol and electrical consumption, the Hybrid only uses 4.2 litres per 100 kilometres, producing only 99 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometre.
