ECOVIDRIO CREATES FIRST RECYCLED GLASS FALLERA ACCESSORIES

– The accessories were made with part of the 143 tons of recycled glass collected by the commissions during the 2019 Fallas.

– The highest representative of the Fallas celebrations, Consuelo Llobell, the Fallas Queen of Valencia, will wear these unique pieces in her official acts.

Under the title “A jewel made by you”, this initiative, which is part of the La Reciclà campaign, aims to recognise and highlight the efforts made by Fallas residents and visitors during the 2019 Fallas, where 143 tonnes of glass were recycled. 

One of the strategies to achieve an impact through this unprecedented piece of traditional Valencian clothing, has been to get the maximum representative of the Fallas festival, the Fallera Mayor of Valencia, Consuelo Llobell, to wear them during her official events.
