Ask any Argentinian what their favourite chocolate is and, apparently, they will reply: Franuí!
Following ten successful years in Latin America, the company that manufactures them, Rapanui, has decided to follow in the footsteps of Christopher Columbus, and conquer Europe.
To do this they have chosen Valencia as their launch site, and specifically the village of Alcàsser.
Their new factory there 3.5 million euros, with 3,500 square metres.
Here they are turning out their two versions of the super sweet, a chocolate covered raspberry filling with white chocolate and a black and white version.
From Valencia they are targeting Germany and Italy to expand their empire. Interestingly, the family business started in Italy, in Turin, but with the outbreak of war, the family fled to Argentina.
