Bodegas Xaló continues to collect awards in a difficult 2020.
The wines and mistellas of Bodegas Xaló have received the main awards in the most important national and international competitions held during this exceptional year.

The year 2020 has been particularly prolific in terms of awards, with Bodegas Xaló being the most awarded winery in the Valencian Community in competitions such as the PROAVA AWARDS, the only one endorsed by the Regional Ministry of Agriculture and which encompasses all the D.Os, awarding Bodegas Xaló with 7 prizes, including 3 golds in the main categories.
A few days ago, the Second Association of Sommeliers of the Province of Alicante (ASPA) awards were also presented, recognising the best wines under the Alicante 2020 appellation. Bodegas Xaló has been one of the great protagonists with 8 awards for its wines and mistellas. They are especially satisfied, as these awards are given by specialised professionals in the sector, with the respect and value that this entails.
But without a doubt, the crowning glory of recent years has been the GOLD MEDAL awarded to the white Dénia Bay in the world’s most prestigious international competition in the speciality of Muscat wines, held in France. MUSCATS DE MOND has thus consecrated Bodegas Xaló’s flagship white wine as one of the best muscatels in the world.
