A Valencian Hero in New York

Most people go on holiday to relax and take it easy, although most people are not Valencian police officer Rubén Castillo.

When Rubén saw a NY counterpart being violently attacked in Times Square, he didn’t hesitate and helped to prevent further aggression and detain the perpetrator.

The man in question was accompanied with a large dog without a leash which had been bothering passers-by. When the NY officer spoke to him, the man head butted him, leaving him groggy.

At this point Rubén, who was accompanied by his girlfriend, intervened, earning the applause of the New York public.
